Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday the 10th June we've Paul Furniss leading the band on soprano sax, down from Newcastle, husband & wife team Rachel Hamilton on piano and Craig Goeldner on double bass and "Mr Smoothie", Joel Davis on drums....

Aghh this coming Friday 10th June is shaping up to be one hellava night of traditional jazz at Club Ashfield with the Bridge City Jazz Band's four special guests......
Paul Furniss on soprano sax and other reeds, Rachel Hamilton on the Club's grand piano, Craig Goeldner on double bass and Joel Davis on drums.....when we add the three Bridge City JB regulars, Colin Beal on reeds, John Bates on trombone/vocals and myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo it will make for a super seven piece band.....

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....  

Best of all the admission is FREE....
