Live traditional Jazz in Sydney...Live Sydney Jazz- At Club Ashfield this coming Friday 9th November 2012, The Bridge City Jazz Band has Bill Dudley as the lead guest trumpet player....with pianist David Stevens and Jim Morrell on drums as the other special guests.....shaping up to be a great night...

We had arranged for Victorian trumpet player John Roberts to lead the Bridge City Jazz Band this coming Friday...09.10.2012, but family business keeps him in Melbourne so we're pleased to have Bill Dudley fill in at short notice to lead the band on cornet....
Bill of course regularly leads the band....
The two "evergreens"....David Stevens on the Club's grand piano and Jim Morrell returning to the drum seat he held for many year - he was the bands permanent drummer until "retirement"....
Well he deserves retirement, however in a months time the band will run a special birthday bash for Jim and bass player Harry Harman...both 85!
Regular band members, John Bates on trombone and vocals...Colin Beal on alto sax and clarinet...Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo complement the guests.....
All we need are your good selves in the audience!
