Live Jazz in Sydney ...Melbourne trumpet Player John Roberts, in Sydney for a few days, leads the Bridge city Jazz Band this coming Friday 19th August.....

John Roberts, originally from Sydney, has been a Melbournian for  years now , but comes up to Sydney to do with his work and when possible we snare him as a special guest.
He's leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet  Friday 19th August at Club Ashfield with friend, pianist David Stevens and Chris Gentle as guest drummer.
Fresh back from the Dubbo Jazz Festival the previous weekend the rest of the band includes John Bates on vocals and trombone, Dennis Quinlan on banjo, Colin Davies on double bass with Colin Beal on alto sax and clarinet....
