station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in
the bistro/function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant
serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....Best of all the admission is FREE....

With the variety of lead players we use with the Bridge City Jazz Band we don't see as much of Geoff Power these days so its exciting to have him back on trumpet lead at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 20th March 2015 featuring with a piano player we like to have at the Club...Monique Lysiak and playing drums this week again Joel Davis who always smoothly fits in the the band..... The usual regulars make up the seven piece Bridge City Jazz Band...Colin Davies on double bass, myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo, Colin Beal on reeds and John Bates on trombone and vocals..... Club Ashfield always provides a great nights entertainment of traditional jazz, great for dancing and great for listening to.....
