Popular English trumpet player Chas.McDevitt is back with us this Friday 7th October at Club Ashfield leading the Bridge City Jazz Band...Kym Till on on piano and Joel Davis on drums making for a wow of a night....
All the usual "suspects" from the Bridge City JB are on hand to back them...

Bill Dudley is a popular entertainer and band leader on the traditional Jazz scene in Sydney and I'm pleased his new gig is off and running again the first Sunday of the month at the Technology Park Hotel....
He plays for us as the trumpet lead on a regular basis and he's back again this coming Friday, 30th September.
Club Ashfield is the venue where the Bridge City Jazz Band has played every Friday for over 8 years.....
I've arranged for a piano player he likes to accompany him....Gary Walford and evergreen Jim Morrell, the original drummer with Bridge City before he retired from regular music work is back on the drum chair....

The New Wolverine Jazz Orchestra are a welcome featured band at the Bix Bierdebeck Memorial Jazz Festival in Davenport, Iowa, USA and have just returned from another successful tour....
Both Geoff Power and Peter Locke play with the Wolverines and its a pleasure to have them back at Club Ashfield leading the Bridge City Jazz Band again....Geoff on cornet, perhaps trumpet and vocals with Peter on the Club's grand piano.
Our other special guest also back from the UK where he visited for the first time in 55 years. He left Swindon as a young man to emigrate to New Zealand...Jim Morrell plays drums for us....
